making a list or my next birthday party

it's on april 14th

inbetween dreams

Glastonbury Festivals

having made the most of the last night, meandering until 7am, 

 i walked back from my friends tent, woken up by the chill of monday morning. 

the sun boldly lit up the haze, blanketing the other stage

 as if tucking in the festival until next year. sleep tight. 

the last flag clinging to the pole in the early dew. 

litter and a bicycle left as evidence of such great human presence. 

time to rest. 

sat on the park hill, 

catching up with a good bunch of school friends

 the beginning of our summer. 

sunset on the first night forgot to warn us of the impressiveness of the pyramid stage this year
